Kodachrome 35mm 1935 Film Simulation
Kodachrome first appeared in 1935 and dominated popular photography for nearly three decades. The early versions of the film had a character distinctly different from the later K14 formulations — warmer, grungier, and with a raw analogue quality that the refined modern Kodachrome largely left behind.
This film simulation goes back to those roots. Developed with the intention of recreating the vintage character of early Kodachrome, the grade exaggerates warm tones to bring out rich brown undertones that give images an unmistakably aged, tactile quality. Pushed further, it edges toward a lomography-like intensity — retaining the Kodachrome DNA while embracing its most expressive, unpolished side.
If the precision of Kodachrome 25 is one end of the spectrum, this is the other — looser, warmer and unapologetically vintage.
Available as a CUBE LUT, XMP profile and ICC profile — compatible with Lightroom, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop.
