Film Simulation
Included Formats
Fuji Provia 100F was one of the last great slide films, discontinued in 2013 after a long run as the go-to all-around professional film. Unlike more characterful stocks, Provia 100F wasn’t designed to impose a look – it was engineered for technical excellence, maximising contrast while maintaining accurate, neutral tones across all lighting conditions.
Its closeness to digital photography makes it one of the harder films to simulate convincingly. Rather than chasing an obvious aesthetic, this Fuji Provia 100F film simulation focuses on the dynamic range areas the film worked hardest – applying contrast precisely where the original film did, while removing the surface flatness that digital sensors tend to produce.
The result is a grade that adds the ideal amount of film contrast without pushing colour in any particular direction. Excellent as a standalone for photographers who want a technical enhancement over a stylistic one, and particularly effective in a stack – using Provia 100F for its tone curve while layering other grades for colour character.
Available as a CUBE LUT, XMP profile and ICC profile – compatible with Lightroom, Capture One, DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop.

Full disclosure: I use this with DxO Photolab 7, not Photoshop. It works perfectly fine.
Of all the ANDP LUTs, this is perhaps the most useful. I apply this at anywhere from 25%-40% opacity after normal RAW processing for a nice, polished final image. It adds an impeccable tonality and color rendering that looks very clean while also minimizing the clinical appearance of digital files. If you’re thinking of trying out any of these LUTs, this is where I would start, followed by the Kodachrome 25 set.

Thank you very much for your review, Michael! What you described seems like the optimal use of the grade, very happy to accommodate!
